The CleanBag Group B.V. was founded in 2023 by Alex Bakker, an entrepreneur, inventor and BBQ enthusiast determined to change the way people cleaned their BBQ. Alex himself knew all too well the frustration of cleaning after each cozy barbecue: chemical cleaners in his yard, a lot of waste, stains on his clothes and a grill that never really got clean. It still somewhat depressed the fun of such a beautiful evening.
Alex believes that people should spend more time together and be able to enjoy barbecuing without worrying about cleaning up afterwards. With that vision in mind, Alex began the exciting journey to bring his idea to life. He gathered a team of talented engineers, chemists and designers who shared his vision.
